The Western Pennsylvania Training Trust Fund facilitates opportunities for career growth in the construction industry through continuing education programs targeting craft workers, foremen, supervisors, project managers, superintendents and company management.
Applicants must submit the following non-returnable items with their application:
q Proof of Age: Copy of birth certificate or driver’s license.
q Certified Transcript: Applicants must supply a copy of their high school transcript. If the applicant did not complete high school, he/she must supply a copy of their GED Diploma and a high school transcript of the last grade completed. Please note that a copy of a high school diploma is not acceptable.
q Previous Employment References: At least two letters of recommendation, preferably from previous employers or schools.
q Proof of Military Services (if applicable): DD214 or military discharge papers (if you are eligible for Veteran’s benefits).
q For Credit and Experience Considerations:
1. Post High School
2. College
3. Correspondence Courses
4. Trade Courses
q Proof of Valid Driver’s License: Applicants must provide a copy of their valid license at the time of application and be able to legally drive in the State of Pennsylvania. Please note that a Learner’s Permit is not acceptable.
q Resume: Can be provided in addition to completed application.
Applications submitted without these documents will
not be considered for apprenticeship.
