Associate and Supplier Committee
The Associate and Supplier Committee fosters close interaction between the chapter's contractor members and associate/supplier members.
Buildings and Grounds Committee
Chair: Immediate Past Chairman Keith Impink, Westmoreland Electric
The Building and Grounds Committee monitors and improves the chapter's office conditions.
Business Development Committee
The Business Development Committee is responsible for planning the chapter's networking events and parents the following subcommittees:
Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet Committee
This committee plans all aspects of the annual Excellence in Construction Awards Dinner, including venue selection, coordinating with judges, awards selection, etc.
Golf Outing Committee
Chair: Gil Davis, Case | Sabatini
The Golf Outing Committee plans the annual golf outing, dinner, and awards presentation.
Trap Shoot Committee
The Trap Shoot Committee plans the annual trap shoot, lunch, and awards.
General Contractors Council
Chair: Vince Fontana, Vince Building Services
The General Contractors Council addresses the issues concerning open-shop general contractors.
Electrical Contractors Council
Chair: Steve DeFrancesco, Westmoreland Electric
The Electrical Contractors Council addresses the issues concerning open-shop electrical contractors, offers strong support to the Safety Committee, and cooperates with the Apprenticeship/Craft Training Committee in updating courses, etc.
Finance Committee
Chair: Kathleen Yeske, 43rd Street Concrete
The Finance Committee brings additional transparency to chapter finances and reviews and approves monthly finances before presenting to the Board of Directors.
Future Leadership Committee
Chair: Immediate Past Chairman Keith Impink, Westmoreland Electric
This committee is responsible for recruiting future leadership of the western Pennsylvania chapter.
Legal Rights and Stratigies Committee
Chair: Thomas Weiers, Thorp, Reed & Armstrong
This committee provides members with information on how to comply with new legislation.
Legislative and Political Action Committee
Chair: D. Thomas Mistick, Church Restoration Group, LLC
This committee monitors local and state-wide legislation and informs members about pending legislation. It is also responsible for raising money to support ABC-endorsed candidates.
Membership Committee
Chair: Robert Fitzgerald, BRIDGES & Company, Inc.
The Membership Committee is responsible for recruiting new members into the association and for overseeing members' acceptance into ABC National's Beam Club, which recognizes ABC's most committed members.
Safety Committee
Chair: Stergios Kalogeris, JKECO Electric, Inc.
The Safety Committee promotes the importance of safety in the construction work place, develops training programs, and promotes the Safety Training Evaluation Process program.
